On May 5th of this year, my beautiful sealpoint Himalayan passed on to the Rainbow Bridge. Her stunning blue eyes held her soul in them, and I know she flew on to the Bridge, happy and healthy again, on blue butterfly wings.

Nikki liked to go on occasional 'walky-walks' outside when she was ill. She also liked sitting on my desk in the office, and the outdoor pen we had for the cats (which is right outside the office). What more fitting place for her final resting area than right outside the window of the office and next to the pen. And what better way to honor her than by planting a little garden in her memory.

Blue flowers, an angel statue given to me by my husband, and a persian statue remind me of Nikki's blue eyes, the blue butterfly wings she has now, and that she is a beautiful angel waiting for me ... and I will watch for blue butterflies to come and visit me and her garden ...

Has anyone else ever made a memorial garden for their Bridge pet?
